Breakups

When guys break up with you, why do they ask, "Are you okay with that?" What are you supposed to say to that? Well, duh! No! Of course it's not okay. If I wanted us to break up, I would be the one doing the breaking, not you. But you can't really say no and act all desperate. That'd only make things worse. I don't understand. It's a trap. That's all I have to say about that.
