Marley's Birthday

I've already been missing a lot of fun things due to the time of my job, but I'm not complaining, because I'm making money. :) And even though I didn't get to watch scary movies (although that was mostly due to my being out at dinner with Mason and some of his friends before he goes to leave on his mission) and go up to the canyon to hear ghost stories on Friday the 13th, I did get to have a little fun on Marley's birthday. I asked Marley was she wanted to do on her birthday, but she wasn't sure, so I asked her instead what kind of cake she wanted. She said guava, so I found a recipe and this was the result. Then some people came over and we kinda hung out until they decided which dollar theater movie they wanted to go to. Of course, I wasn't able to go because of work, but I enjoyed the social opportunity while it was there.And, I was also able to go to a lantern party thing (it ended up being a ward thing we weren't really invited to) because that was on a Sunday. They played Tangled music and everything.
Other than that, the only things I've really been doing lately is homework, sleep, and work. Oh, and planning for my totally awesome Harry Potter marathon! I'm so excited! It's spanning over three days and I'm making all kinds of Harry Potter foods and it's going to be great. Except for the fact that the ward decided to plan an activity right smack dab in middle of it, even though I've been planning the thing for a few weeks now and I invited everyone in the ward who's friends with me on Facebook... Oh well. We'll work it out somehow.
Oh yeah, and Josh took Sarah and me to the nickel arcade yesterday and it was SO MUCH FUN! I want to go back. I loved it. :)
Sarah dyed my hair on Saturday. Originally it was the exact right color (my natural color) but the roots turned out orange (...weird...) so she used toner and it went WAY dark. So, yeah...
Oh, and I don't think I ever posted this picture of our fireplace. The stalkings aren't there anymore.
